Who I Am

Hi — I'm Gaurav Sharma, a Backend & Cloud Engineer pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology at Indira Gandhi Engineering College, Indore.

I go end-to-end. I write the backend, configure the cloud, and now I ship the mobile client too. My flagship project, ShareIt, is a full real-time social platform with a React Native Android app, WebRTC peer-to-peer video calling, AWS S3 media pipelines, Socket.IO messaging, Redis-backed queues, and Firebase push notifications.

Everything I build runs live — behind Nginx, managed by PM2, secured with HTTPS. I care deeply about how systems actually behave in production under real load, not just how they look in a demo.

ShareIt — Social Chat Platform
Full-featured real-time social platform available on both web and Android. Friend system, S3 media sharing, and WebRTC video/voice calling, backed by JWT auth, Redis-cached sessions, and BullMQ email queues. The React Native app adds native push notifications via FCM, background call handling, and a dedicated WebRTC signaling flow tuned for mobile networks (TURN relay fallback for strict NATs). Deployed on AWS EC2 with Nginx + HTTPS.
